Knorr Kampung Chicken Soup

Delicious recipe for your whole family


  • 6 slices of sandwich bread (or bread of your preference)
  • 1 kampung chicken, chopped to 8 pcs
  • 2 potatoes, quartered
  • 1 cube Knorr Chicken 
  • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamon pods
  • 1 star anise 
  • 2 inch young ginger, sliced 
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • ¼ head cauliflower, sliced 
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 litre water
  • Salt to taste

  • 6 shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch fresh turmeric 

  • Coriander 
  • Fried shallots
  • Red chilli 


  1. In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the blended ingredients for a few minute
  2. Add in ginger, cinnamon stick, cardamon, star anise, coriander powder and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add in the chicken pieces and mix well, fry for 10 minutes. 
  4. Next, add in the water and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the chicken is tender.
  5. Add in the remaining ingredients except the cabbage. Let it simmer until the potatoes have soften. Lastly add in the cauliflower. 
  6. Season with salt. Before serving, garnish with some coriander, fried shallots and red chilli.
