Tesco Ice Cream Maker

Homemade ice-cream for the family.

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream:

  • 350ml whipping cream
  • 120ml full cream milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla essence
  • 100g sugar
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    (Combine the above together)

Strawberry Ice Cream:

  • 1 cup strawberries, mashed
  • 300ml whipping cream
  • 150ml full cream milk
  • 110g caster sugar
  • A few drops of strawberry colour
    (Combine the above together)

Coconut Ice Cream:

  • 200g freshly squeeze thick coconut milk
  • 200g whipping cream
  • 110g caster sugar
    (Combine the above together)

Method:

  1. The freezer bowl must be place in the freezer for at least 12 hours.
  2. The ice cream mixture should be chilled in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.

To make the ice cream in the machine:

  1. Place the frozen freezer bowl into the machine. Fix the paddle, cover the lid.
  2. Turn on the machine, open the plastic lid and pour the chilled mixture in. Allow it to churn for 20 minutes or 40 minutes till the ice cream is done.
