Claypot Chicken with Maggi Imperial Oyster Sauce

Try this recipe with the new Maggi Imperial Oyster Sauce


  • 1.5 kg chicken thigh, skinless and cut into pieces 去皮鸡上腿, 斩块



  • 2 tsp MAGGI chicken stock concentrated / Maggi美极浓缩鸡汁
  • 2 tsp sugar 糖
  • ½ tsp pepper 胡椒粉
  • 2 tsp sesame oil 麻油


  • 1 tbsp cooking oil 油
  • 5 slices ginger 姜
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic 蒜茸
  • 1 stalk spring onion, cut into 5cm length 青葱,切成5cm长段
  • 1 onion, peeled and cut into wedges 洋葱,去皮,切片
  • 5 black mushrooms, soaked in water, cut into half 冬菇,泡软,切半
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced红萝卜,去皮,切片
  • 2 red chilies, seeded and cut into slices 红辣椒,去籽,切片



  • ½ tbsp MAGGI Imperial Oyster sauce / Maggi 皇廷海味蚝油
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil 麻油
  • 1 tsp sugar 糖
  • 200g water 水
  • 1 tbsp corn flour, mixed with 2 tbsp water and mix well, for thickening 


  1. Mix chicken with marinades, marinate for 2 hours or overnight. 将鸡腿加入腌料充分拌匀。腌制2小时或隔夜。
  2. Heat up 1 tbsp oil, sauté ginger, garlic, spring onion, onion and mushrooms till fragrant. Add in chicken and stir well. Stir in seasoning, carrot, red chillies and bring to boil till chicken is well cooked. Thicken with corn flour water. 烧热1大匙油,爆香姜片、蒜茸、葱段、洋葱和冬菇,然后再加入腌制的鸡腿炒匀,再加入调味料、红萝卜片、红辣椒片煮至鸡肉熟透,勾芡。
  3. Transfer chicken into a heat proof casserole and bring to boil again. Serve hot. 准备一个耐热砂煲,盛入蚝油鸡,用大火再次煮滚,即可上桌趁热享用。
